The Burundi coffee beans are similar to the Rwandans beans, but you
can argue that Rwandan are just ‘imitators’ of former’s unique
processing methods. The Burundi farmer’s and processor’s traditional
method of wet processing coffee cherries was imitated by Rwandan coffee
producers many years ago.
Burundi beans can be somewhat difficult to source, so there is a good chance that they may not be around for long! Make sure you snap some up quickly, because you wont want to miss out on their delicious sweet and bright flavour.
